COURSE CONTENT
This 2 day course covers the correct paediatric first aid provision which is a statutory requirement for the majority of childcare providers.
The QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (QCF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfill Ofsted's first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and child minders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide).
Successful candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider, and will be equipped with the necessary skills to administer safe and effective treatment when dealing with a range of paediatric first aid situations.
Please note, this course is a full cost course and therefore there is no fee remission available to any student.
