The £120m Middlesbrough College campus provides outstanding facilities for our learners and offers a great learning environment for people of all levels.
Northern Skills use this space to conduct many of their apprenticeship and training courses such as catering and hospitality and hair and beauty.
The group also works with the college and attends the various open events throughout the year, this gives learners and businesses a great opportunity to not only speak with a member of our team but also experience first hand the world class training facilities we have to offer.
The Graduate Salon & Beauty Rooms
Book a range of high-quality hair and beauty treatments at Middlesbrough College’s Graduate Salon. Treatments are carried out by student hairdressers and beauty therapists under the supervision of fully qualified staff.
The Waterside Brasserie
Middlesbrough College’s commercial training restaurant, The Waterside Brasserie offers delicious, freshly prepared cuisine. Food is prepared and served by the College’s catering and hospitality students under guidance of the industry professional Head Chef and Restaurant Manager.
Sports Facilities
The College has a large, six-court sports hall that can be utilised for a range of events and has dimensions of 34.5 metres by 27 metres. With the installation of floor-covering by college staff, this venue can be used for large conferences, exhibitions and events.
Gymworld & MC Fitness Studio
Middlesbrough College provides apprentices, staff and the local community with access to the Fitness Studio and Gymworld Gymnastics Centre.
Children's parties
Middlesbrough College offers unique party packages to children across Teesside, including Gymnastics parties, football parties and Bump & Bounce parties.
MC Theatre
The MC Theatre is a stunning 142 seat performance venue based at Middlesbrough College. The theatre is available to hire for various events including awards evenings, ceremonies, competitions, theatrical performances, seminars, training days, launches and corporate events.
