Professional Diploma in Accounting (AAT) – Level 4

Modules offered may vary.

Core modules include:

• Financial statements for Limited Companies
• Management Accounting: Budgeting
• Management Accounting: Decisions and Control
• Accounting Systems and Controls

Optional modules include:

• Business Tax
• Personal Tax
• Credit Management
• External Auditing

Various start dates available. Students will study between 9am – 5pm.

You must have achieved a Level 2 English and maths, and have completed Level 3 AAT or similar qualification. Certificates will need to be produced at enrolment.

Due to the high demands of the course, there is a requirement to have some existing accounting knowledge to be accepted on this level and all new applicants are required to take part in an informal interview and skills assessment.

You will be assessed through six computer based assessments.

You can progress onto further study including the CIMA, ACCA or BA (Hons) Accounting.

While a work placement is not a mandatory requirement for the course it is advisable that all AAT learners seek to carry out some form of appropriate work experience to enhance their employment prospects in the world of accounting and finance.
