Following a stint in Copenhagen, queen of the kitchen, Bethan Wright applied to an apprenticeship opportunity through Northern Skills Group
with reputable restaurant, Chadwicks.
Based in Maltby, the 22 year old developed her existing knowledge and cookery skills, working alongside Head Chef, Steve Lawford.
The year-long opportunity has seen Bethan travel to-and-from Copenhagen, where she has been able to further her talent by gaining valuable experience in a host of first-class restaurants.
Having successfully completed all components of her Level 2 Intermediate Professional Chef Apprenticeship, Bethan's hard work has allowed her to move to the Scandinavian City on a permanent basis after impressing during a trial at the Michelin Star restaurant within the Hotel D’Angleterre.
Working alongside the international kitchen brigade, Beth’s new employer has a reputation for being the best in the area and is currently striving to gain a sixth-star classification.
Leaving a positive impression with her Maltby team, the ambitious chef had also been offered a full-time position at Chadwicks, however they wish her all the best for her undoubtedly successful future.
Bethan is now looking forward to serving up dishes in front of the likes of a la carte restaurant regular, Tom Cruise.
