Mad Ox Removals and Storage operate nationwide, offering a range of home moving packages covering small flats right the way up to commercial properties.
Joshua will also gain skills in customer service, health and safety and security as part of his qualification.
Manager at Mad Ox Removals and Storage, Andy Hardie, said: “We chose to take on an apprentice as a way of expanding the team.
“Being able to teach a young person from scratch was a real benefit to us, as we could train Joshua to our company standards.
“Since joining the team, Joshua has fit in extremely well with our other employees and is keen to work and learn. His attitude is fantastic and he will be a huge asset to us.
“We will hopefully see him progress through the company and have a long career with us.”
