RS Treatments are looking for a motivated individual that's keen to learn to join their busy team. The Successful candidate will have a brilliant work ethic and will work towards completing a Level 3 Qualification In Fabrication and Welding.

Main duties:

  • Leaning the ability to work from computer aided drawings
  • Drawing out measurements on sheet metal
  • Cut out the parts of the machine from sheet metal
  • Folding the sheet metal
  • Fabricating it all together by welding
  • Dressing off using grinders
  • Fabricating accessories
  • Learning to use an array of fabricating tools
  • Working in a team to achieve dead lines

    Individuals are able to undertake an apprenticeship at a higher level than the qualification they already hold, including any previously completed apprenticeships. Individuals can also undertake an apprenticeship at the same level, or a lower level as long as the new apprenticeship allows for new skills to be acquired and the content of the training is materially different from any previous qualification or apprenticeship. For example, if you already have a Level 4 qualification you still may be able to complete an apprenticeship at a preceding level providing you meet the eligibility criteria and are learning substantive new skills.     • The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.70 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under the age of 19 and those aged 19 and above who are in their first year of an apprenticeship*.
    • *Apprentices must be paid at least the national minimum wage for their age if they are aged 19 and over and have completed their first year of an apprenticeship.
    • The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over.
    • Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that’s part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
