We recently spoke to Rachel Higgins, HR and L&D Specialist at Seqens, who discussed their experience using TTE as an apprenticeship provider.
“At Seqens, we have a longstanding relationship with TTE, going back to when the site was known as Chemoxy International. We have worked with TTE to train and develop our apprentices for over a decade now, and around 25% of our staff are currently being trained or have trained with TTE.
“Working with TTE benefits our business as firstly, we know that the process of enrolling apprentices at TTE and having a smooth induction process has been done for many years and works well. TTE are always conscious that our apprentices have no experience in our industry, and we can be sure that all apprentices have a good grounding into Health and Safety, as well as Process or Maintenance fundamentals before coming to site.
“The tutors at TTE are knowledgeable and supportive, so we know that our apprentices are taken care of whilst in centre. The regular review processes we have in place help us as an employer to keep an eye on this too. Contacts at TTE are always helpful and knowledgeable, especially Becky Brown and Gary French. I also deal with the commercial training team, who are always happy to help and address any queries we may have.
“I would certainly recommend other businesses to work with TTE as an apprenticeships and training provider. As well as being very local to us, the expertise at TTE is excellent and they are a reliable provider for both apprenticeships as well as commercial training courses.
“We plan on continuing to work with TTE going forward and we are currently in the process of enrolling our 2022 cohort of Apprentices onto a programme with TTE!”
