Tees Valley Age Grant
The Tees Valley Grant for Employers (TVAGE) is a grant for SMEs in the Tees Valley area who are employing an apprentice aged 16-24. To receive the grant employers will be required to employ an apprentice for the duration of their apprenticeship training (minimum 12 months) and pay at least the National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage.
April - July 2017 Apprenticeship Starts
TVAGE grants will still be offered under the present grant scheme for January - March 2017 starts. All applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will continue to receive a £1,500 support payment per apprentice (in line with the National AGE grant programme).
In addition to this, a payment of £1,000 will be paid for apprenticeships which make a specific contribution to the delivery of the Tees Valley's Strategic Economic Plan.

The current TVAGE funding grant is available to employers until 31st July 2017.
