Engineering Design Technician Apprenticeship – Level 3

• Help with designing, building, testing, installing, and maintaining equipment and systems
• Use proven methods to solve engineering and manufacturing problems
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical people

• Work with a range of systems, including mechnical, electrical, electronic and fluid power components

Employment in a suitable role for the chosen apprenticeship is essential. Northern Skills will work with applicants to help find a suitable employer where possible but we advise anyone looking to undertake an apprenticeship to actively seek employment for themselves.

Learners aged 16-18 should have achieved Grade 4 or above (or Level 2 Functional Skills) in English and maths.

Learners aged 19+ should have achieved Grade 4 or above (or Level 2 Functional Skills) in English and maths.

Certificates will need to be produced at enrolment. If proof cannot be produced or you do not meet these entry requirements, then applicants will be invited to complete an initial assessment prior to acceptance. An interview will take place.
