This apprenticeship covers both the practical and theoretical sides of site carpentry, helping apprentices build the skills needed for a wide range of tasks.
Site Carpenter Apprentices work with wood-based materials to produce and install building components. Their duties include cutting and shaping materials, fitting items such as doors, staircases, windows, partitions, mouldings, and timber flooring, as well as constructing structural elements like floor joists and roofs. They work on construction sites across new builds and refurbishment projects, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
