Award in Auto CAD (2D CAD 7689-06) – Level 3

• Using AutoCAD in a 2D environment
• Use a layering system and different line types
• Use and define blocks or libraries
• Produce isometric drawings
• Define and use an adjustable co-ordinate system
• Use complex dimensioning routines
• Use drawing spaces
• Produce hard copies
• Use a means of pre-command object selection in order to carry out editing processes
• Change the properties of a number of drawn entities
• Edit blocks/symbols and hatched areas
• Modify continuous lines formed by a connected sequence of lines or arcs
• Use a method to remove unused items and rename other items logically

Various start dates available. Students will study Thursdays, between 5pm – 8pm.

Applicants should have experience of using CAD at Level 2.

This course has 2 practical assignments and a short answer written test.

The cost of this course can be found at the top of the webpage. This course is full cost and therefore learners are unable to get any fee remission.
