“I completed my college studies in 2018 and took a year out to decide what I really wanted to do and started applying for apprenticeships. I knew I wanted to go into the construction industry and preferably a Quantity Surveyor but I was more concerned about getting my foot in the door. When the apprenticeship with Gleeson became available through Northern Skills I knew it was for me.
“I have been fully supported in all my work and everything I do. It is very reassuring knowing I have the right people around me to help. I hope to work towards gaining a degree in my field as well as looking at the possibility of becoming a chartered QS.”
