Safe Isolation and Reinstatement of Plant Equipment

Delegates will gain an understanding and be able to demonstrate competence in Process Isolation Procedures based on OPITO POH Level 2 units:

PT3.4.1 Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance
PT3.4.2 Isolate plant and equipment
PT3.4.3 De – isolate plant and equipment

Successful delegates will receive a City & Guilds Certificate.

Know and explain basic process isolation procedures
Plan and prepare isolations for practical exercises
Perform isolations on replicated equipment
Test and monitor effectiveness of isolations
Reinstate plant and equipment

Delivery will be a combination of classroom tuition/practical demonstrations.

Each candidate is required to demonstrate understanding through a written, multi-choice question paper.
