City and Guilds 0610 Certificate in Process Technology (Chemical Process) (Online) – Level 3

• Mandatory – Process Chemistry in Process Industries (double award)
• Mandatory – Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow in Process Industries (double award)
• Optional Unit – Distillation in Process Industries
• Optional Unit – Principles of Compressors and Compression Technology
• Optional Unit – Evaporation in Process Industries
• Optional Unit – Water for Process Industry

Various start dates available.

Approx. 40 weeks (Open Learning). 4 weeks per single unit, 8 weeks per double unit, 2 hours per week tutorial sessions.

The recommended guided learning hours for this course are 10 hours of home study per week as a minimum.

Although City and Guilds do not have set entry requirements for this qualification, it is recommended that the course delegate has previously achieved the 0610 Level 2 Qualification in Process Technology or have a minimum of GCSE Grades B or above in Maths, English and Science.

You are required to undertake a written exam at the end of each unit. It is imperative that you are available to attend on your exam date. In circumstances where you are not available to attend, we can re-arrange the exam but please be aware that additional fees will apply.

If you fail to meet the required criteria, you will be required to resit the examination. Any resit/resubmission fees are in addition to the course price.

You are required to bring photographic identification to the exam (i.e. passport/driving licence).
