“I knew I wanted to pursue a career in Digital Marketing so I kept a close eye on the Northern Skills Group vacancies until I saw one that jumped out at me and as soon as I saw the Mabo vacancy I went for it. Before starting my apprenticeship with Mabo I worked on a chemical site for a company called Johnson Matthey but wanted to move into the digital sector.

A personal highlight of the course that I enjoyed was the Principles of Coding Syllabus. I had never really considered coding to be something of interest to me but my tutor made the content easy to digest and I was able to pass the exam successfully.”
