Northern Skills have been working with Riverdale Healthcare and supporting them with apprenticeship training solutions for over 12 years. Since 2009, the group have trained over 20 apprentices with Northern Skills helping grow their workforce and build on the Riverdale Healthcare group. This partnership has helped not only grow Riverdale’s workforce but also ensure they have a skills team with the right experience to succeed.
Apprentice, Naomi Mensah has loved her experience during her apprenticeship, she said:
“I am enjoying being part of the team and being supported throughout my whole learning experience while on the job. It is a great option for those who are keen to move forward with their career and get hat practical experience.”
Abigail Mills, practice Manager at the Vitality practice in Stokesley knows how important it is to have a good working relationship with your training provider: “I personally think Northern Skills have been really good, so approachable. I find Rachel Fieldhouse easy to get hold of and she is always prompt with responding to any enquiry, no matter what it might be!
The tutors are always proactive and keen to engage with us to gain feedback on our apprentices, we work well together which is key in ensuring the apprenticeship brings value to both us and the learner.
I think apprenticeships are a great way to get staff that you train up with your company values, whilst they go to college and get the underpinning knowledge.”
