NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety – Level 3

• Tuesday Daytime course dates – 9am – 4pm – 27/08/2024 – 10/12/2024
• Tuesday Evening course dates – 6pm – 9pm – 27/08/2024 – 29/04/2025
• Wednesday Evening course dates – 6pm – 9pm – 28/08/2024 – 30/04/2025
• Thursday Daytime course dates – 9am – 4pm – 29/08/2024 – 12/12/2024

Daytime runs over 15 weeks, Evening will run over 30 weeks. We currently do not offer online, as class based sessions offer a higher success chance for the delegates.

• Course participants should be aged 19+, due to the course high intensity and course material covered.
• Course participants must also be in employment due to the assessment criteria set.
• Course participants should also have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus
  

NG1 – An Open book exam assessment, wherein you will use your knowledge along with researching to answer set questions. You will have 24-hours from start, to complete and submit. This will then be followed up within a 2-week period by an interview conducted by your tutor or a team member. The interview will require you to explain your answers with appropriate responses to questions asked on your submission.

Pass Mark Required – 45%.

NG2 – A Practical Risk Assessment/Report submission, based on your individual workplace. Using the knowledge and understanding, you will be required to compile a Health and Safety Risk Assessment report. This will focus on hazards identified within your individual work setting, explaining existing measures, how/if they can be improved and within a specific time frame if appropriate.

Pass Mark Required – 100%.*

*Please note this is marked externally by NEBOSH, and outcomes are subject to the examiners opinion, marking at the time. If unsuccessful, you will receive a ‘Referral’ grade along with feedback on areas to improve.

Delegates who may not be successful on their assessments can re-sit at the centre’s set dates– per assessment method.

Price is £89.00 per exam, per delegate

You can work as safety advisor or a safety manager in many workplaces.

You can also progress on to the NEBOSH Diploma if you wish to move into safety management as a career for a larger employer.

Payments for these courses can be made by the following options;

• Full payment prior to course starting.
• A deposit at the start of the course followed by a payment plan you agree with our Finance team. Plans must be fully paid 1-month prior to the end of the course.
• Please note that your deposit and payment plan must be set up and paid prior to your first day of attendance.
  Financed by your employer or a 3rd party (Evidence of payment intent required – please provide at enrolment, when you attend). Usually via Invoice / Purchase Order, a letter of payment intent on headed paper is also acceptable.
• Financed through ELCAS
• Please note that there is no other funding currently available for this course. Student Finance is not accepted for this course.
